The winner and their family of up to 5 people will join Ms. Norton for a private behind-the-scenes tour of George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate. Hosted by her father, J. Dean Norton, Director of Horticulture and Livestock Emeritus, your visit will include: admission to the property, strolling the gardens and grounds, a visit to the restored grist mill and distillery with a must sampling of the spirits (for the adults), a behind the scenes look at the estate, not on view by the visiting public, a visit to our livestock facility where you will see some of our rare breeds, you will also be able to tour the house. There are many surprises in store during this 3 hour experience with Dean, full of stories, fun facts and enlightenment. If you love Mount Vernon Estate this tour is a must!
