The winner may be able to make important announcements to the school, visit classes and provide their constructive feedback, or even reward students with extra recess! The winner and 4 friends will stay after school on a Friday until 5:30 pm, with Ms. Cantu in her classroom. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided. The winner will take home the Rummikub board game.

From 3:15-5:15, the winner and 4 lucky students will enjoy ice cream sundaes with all the toppings while playing board games, laughing, and hanging out in a cozy, relaxed setting. The winner and 2 friends will join both Ms. Daley & Ms. Vessa for a fun night on the town! After dismissal, students will head to BBM to enjoy slushies before heading to Georgetown. On the way there will be a stop at either Tugooh Toys or Sephora, and the night will end with a movie at AMC theater! The experience will take place on an agreed upon date in June.

Up to six students are invited to join Mr. Mentzer and Ms. Wojtas for an unforgettable Escape the Room adventure in Penn Quarter, Washington, DC! The winning student will even get to choose the escape room theme, from secret-agent missions to archaeological expeditions, thanks to the wide range of immersive, story-driven experiences offered at Escape the Room DC.
With highly rated, fully immersive 60-minute games, this is the perfect mix of challenge, teamwork, and fun. Students will work together to crack codes, uncover clues, and beat the clock in one of DC's top escape room destinations.
Parents will be responsible for transportation to and from the venue at the agreed-upon time in late May or early June.
Get ready for puzzles, excitement, and an experience your student won't forget!

4-5 students will enjoy breakfast and play board games with Ms. Guarisco one Friday morning before school begins! The experience will take place on an agreed upon date in late May or June. Breakfast will be provided.

You and 4 friends will meet the teachers at the National Zoo on mutually agreed upon day in May or June. Winners will tour the zoo for 2 hours and enjoy snack provided by the teachers. Parents are responsible for drop off and pick up.

Mario Kart or Just Dance Party! You and 5 friends will play Mario Kart, Just Dance, or both afterschool. Partytime is between 3:15 - 4:30. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

The winner will schedule a date in May or June for Ms. Lee to come to your house for up to 2 hours to become a bonus member of the family -- you choose the plan! Ms. Lee can meet your family, and you can even choose to invite other classmates over to join! You make the plan, but ideas could be family game night (Ms. Lee can bring games), making dinner (or cookies) together, pizza and movie night, spa night (Ms. Lee can bring facials and nail polish), or a backyard BBQ. I can't wait to be a bonus member of your family for a night!

While sipping on a flavorful fruit juice, the little artist will get to enjoy the whole experience of being an artist from different cultures, learned in the Wit and Wisdom curriculum.

A student and two friends can come to the art room during two Friday SEE time periods to create their own one-of-a-kind art and then transfer their artwork to a water bottle using a heat press!

The winner and 3 friends will spend the morning enjoying downtown DC with Ms. Field and Mr. Howard. We will meet at the museum of illusions and then enjoy lunch at Clyde's. The experience will take place on an agreed upon date in May or June.

The winner and up to 2 friends (3 people total) will join Ms. Bauer for Books and Bagels on weekend morning in May or June! We will start at Politics and Prose where we will peruse the lastest titles and students can pick their next story. Then they will walk to Call Your Mother for a bagel breakfast together. Books and Bagels will be purchased by Ms. Bauer. This event can take place on 5/16, 5/17, 5/30,5/31, 6/13, 6/14 or 6/16.

A winner and two friends will join Ms. Di Renzo during the lunch/recess hour to have pizza, juice, and cookies up on the hill. Then they'll spend the rest of the time playing on the upper playground.

A cozy afternoon of fun awaits! The winning student and three friends will join Ms. Skubel after school for a "Sleep Under" filled with games, a movie, and sweet treats.

Come in comfy clothes or pajamas and bring a blanket or sleeping bag to relax and enjoy baking brownies, making ice cream sundaes, and even ordering pizza together!

A winner and three friend will join Mr. Howard for a Washington Spirit game on May 30th at 6:30pm. Come ready to cheer on the Spirit under the lights. (Transportation is NOT included)

Enjoy an evening of pottery painting at 'All Fired Up' in Cleveland Park. The winner and three friends will sip and paint, create, and finish with some ice cream next door! (Date to be determine with winner and Ms. Jones.)

Your child and our whole class will stay after school with Ms. Young on June 12 from 3:30 - 4:30 to enjoy playdough and popsicles together! Your child will help Ms. Young plan what kinds of playdough we should have. Will they add color, a scent or even glitter?

One lucky Pre-K student and three Pre-K friends will spend time after school one afternoon hanging out with Ms. Perll. There will be a special craft, snacks, and games to enjoy. Day: TBD with winner. Time: Immediately after school until 4:30.

One lucky 1st Grader and three 1st Grade friends will meet up with Ms. Perll at Rock Creek Nature center on a weekend morning. We will explore the nature center, hike on some trails, have a snack, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Calling all gamers and speed demons! Grab two friends and get ready to play! You're the captain of this adventure, choosing between a high-stakes race at the F1 Arcade in DC or a motion-tracking mission at Immersive Gamebox in Ballston. This afternoon of high-tech competition and laughs with Ms. Bielasiak will take place on an agreed-upon day in June. We'll head out to celebrate the end of the school year in style!

The winner and 2 friends will join Ms. Campbell for an after school picnic in the park on a Wendesday or Thursday in late May or June. We will wrap up the fun with a sweet treat at Broad Branch.

Ms. Cassidy is holding a class-wide party. This is open to all of her students (in both classrooms). She will host a pizza party and a movie for participants in June. Tickets are only $10 dollars each. She wants to make sure everyone can enjoy the day with her!

Little Beast & Child's Play with Ms Cassidy

The winner and three friends will head to Child's Play with Ms. Cassidy. We will check out the latest craze in toys and games. We will then walk to Little Beast and enjoy dinner. The experience will take place on an agreed upon date in June.

Co-teach 2nd-5th grade peace classes with Mr. Goldman on a day of your choosing. Lead Mindful Moments, teach Brain Science, model Conflict Resolution, and pass out Peace Bear and Mindful Monkey!

Afterschool bird-date with Mr. Goldman and all the flying friends passing through for spring migration. We will walk around Lafayette Pointer-Park with binoculars (provided) and end with a snack from Broad Branch (provided).

Ms. Foxworth is holding a class party. This is open to all students.. She will host a pizza party and a movie for participants in June. Tickets are only $10 dollars each. She wants to make sure everyone can enjoy the day with her!

One afternoon, after school from 3:15 - 4:30pm, Mrs. O'Beirne will take the winner and three (3) friends to Broad Branch Market for ice cream and treats. After, we will walk to the park and play.

The winner and nine friends will join Ms. Willimann for an afternoon of painting their very own ceramic ice cream bowl with an All Fired Up Mobile Studio artist followed by enjoying an all you can eat ice cream sundae buffet! The lucky 10 artists will keep their individually painted ceramic ice cream bowls as a special memory. This experience will take place after school in Ms. Willimann's classroom on Wednesday, May 20.

4 students in Mrs. Johnson's class are warmly invited (total 5 including your child) to accompany Mrs. Johnson on a wonderful adventure at Medieval Times at Arrundel Mills in Hanover, MD! This is a two-hour, family-friendly dinner show set in a replica 11th-century castle, featuring six knights competing in jousting, sword fighting, and games of skill. The Knights are not fighting for the throne itself, but rather to be crowned "Defender of the Realm" by the Queen. The experience includes dressage (precision riding), falconry, and a four-course feast! (Transportation IS Not Included)

You and 2 friends of your choice! When: After school on Wednesday May 27 (Raindate: Friday May 29), we will enjoy some ice cream from broad branch and art! What: We will walk to broad branch, grab some ice cream, and then sit outside at the picnic tables and draw, color, and have fun! Time: 3:30-5:00pm (Pickup is at Broad Branch at 5pm)

Are you pining for your days with Ms. Bauer? Well here is your chance to relive the best days! The winner and 1 friend will join Ms. Bauer for dinner at Little Beast. They can talk about the good times they had together and update Ms. Bauer on their current life. This is open to any former Ms. Bauer students. We will meet for a weeknight dinner on an agreed upon date in May or June.

Strike Up Some Fun with the Bowlin' Bears!

Get ready for an afternoon that's right up your alley! The winner and three lucky friends (four students in total) will join Mr. Howard and Mr. Lookner-also known as The Bowlin' Bears-for two hours of bowling and after-school fun at Lucky Strike Bethesda. This spare-tacular event will take place on an agreed-upon date in May or June!

On an agreed upon date the winner and four friends will meet at winner's choice of playground or classroom to craft for 1 and half hours! We will make bracelets and make paper crafts!

The winner and two friends will get to learn the basics of embroidering with Ms. Fernandez! Here's your chance to design a tote bag and show off your favorite colors! Join Ms. Fernandez for a relaxed, hands-on embroidery session where you'll learn the basics and outline your design. No experience is needed, only bring your creativity and patience! Ms. Fernandez will provide everything!

Two lucky 2nd-5th graders and 5 friends each will have an open gym experience afterschool! Pick from your favorite PE games and equipment and join Ms. Dunleavy and Mr.Mitchell for an hour of fun afterschool in late May.

Two lucky 3rd-5th grade winners and 4 friends each will join Ms. Gemar and Ms. Dunleavy for an hour of beading, bracelets and braiding! A special treat and all craft supplies will be provided during a lunch/recess block in late May or early June.

Have you ever wanted to create a graphic novel? Join Ms. Kovach after school and find out how to get started on making your own graphic novel. We'll brainstorm ideas for stories, sketch out characters, write some fun dialogue, and explore drawing tips and techniques used by cartoonists. Bring one or two friends with you. We'll meet for two sessions. Sessions will take place on agreed dates in June. Snacks provided.

The winner and two friends will join Mr. Lookner for pizza along Connecticut Avenue after school on an agreed-upon date in May or June! The winner will get to choose our destination from Little Beast, Mama Lucia's, or Comet Ping Pong!

The winner and two friends will spend an hour and a half after school making scented candles with Mr. MOM (Mr. omalley). We will melt the wax together and mix it with a scent of choice. (All supplies are included!) Students will be able to bring the candles home a week later. Snacks will be provided.

The winner and two friends will join Ms. Cobb at Cabin John ice rink for skating before heading over to Montgomery Mall for dinner and dessert on an agreed upon date in June! Begginer or advanced, all skaters are welcome. Transportation to Cabin John ice rink and pick up from Montgomery Mall must be provided by parents.

Auction winner will work with Cara Hoppe to determine the size and style of the quilt. Project will be completed by August 2026.

Shadow Mr. Scott, the Custodial Foreman, and get a behind-the-scenes look into the inner workings of DC's largest elementary school. After an exciting time exploring and learning what it takes to keep the school running smoothly, enjoy a special lunch with Mr. Scott and have all your questions answered!

The winner and their family of up to 5 people will join Ms. Norton for a private behind-the-scenes tour of George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate. Hosted by her father, J. Dean Norton, Director of Horticulture and Livestock Emeritus, your visit will include: admission to the property, strolling the gardens and grounds, a visit to the restored grist mill and distillery with a must sampling of the spirits (for the adults), a behind the scenes look at the estate, not on view by the visiting public, a visit to our livestock facility where you will see some of our rare breeds, you will also be able to tour the house. There are many surprises in store during this 3 hour experience with Dean, full of stories, fun facts and enlightenment. If you love Mount Vernon Estate this tour is a must! This tour is only offered on weekdays, no weekends or holidays.

Director of Horticulture and Livestock Emeritus, J. Dean Norton. Norton Began working at Mount Vernon in 1969 and never left. Since becoming the Horticulturist in 1980 he has restored the historic gardens and landscapes to their original 18th century appearance. His wealth of experience and time at Mount Vernon offers a unique a special window into history.

One lucky student will take charge as "Teacher for the Day" in Ms. DeFeo's 2nd grade class! They'll help lead activities, make special classroom choices, and enjoy VIP treatment throughout the day. A fun and memorable experience your child will love!
